We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
Bookings
Online bookings are handled by NightsBridge (book.nightsbridge.com). When you click “Book” or “Check Availability” you leave our website, and NightsBridge’s privacy policy applies to the information you give there.
Cookies
The site uses:
- Necessary cookies that make the site work and remember your cookie choice.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager), only after you accept them in the cookie banner.
- Google Maps on the Contact page, which loads only after you accept it.
You can change your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers who help us run the site and your stay:
- Our website host and developers (LekkerOnline, Cloudways on Amazon Web Services)
- NightsBridge (bookings)
- Google (analytics and maps, only with your consent)
- Our email provider (to receive form messages)
We may also share information when the law requires it.
Information sent outside South Africa
Our website is hosted on servers in the United States, and Google may process data outside South Africa. We use only providers bound by data-protection terms that give a level of protection similar to POPIA, as section 72 of POPIA requires.
How we protect it
The site uses encryption (HTTPS), access to the site’s systems is restricted to named staff, and the software is kept up to date. If a breach is likely to affect you, we will tell you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
Your rights
You may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold information about you and give you a copy;
- correct or delete it;
- stop using it, or object to how we use it.
